Redmi Pad 2 was just launched in India. It is the successor to the 1st Gen Redmi Pad and has got some upgrades over its predecessor. The company claims that the Redmi Pad 2 is the first to support Google’s circle to search feature out of the box. And it will also ship with HyperOS 2 and is available in both Wi-Fi-only and Wi-Fi + Cellular options as well. The Redmi Pad 2 features an 11-inch 2.5K (2,560 x 1,600 pixels) 10-bit display with a 600 nits brightness level and a 90 Hz refresh rate display. Additionally, it has Triple TÜV Rheinland certifications for eye protection and wet touch technology support. And talking about the battery, it features a big 9,000 mAh battery with an 18W charger inside the box.

Redmi Pad 2 Chipset and OS

The Redmi Pad 2 features a MediaTek Helio G100-Ultra chipset. For the OS part, Redmi Pad 2 comes with Xiaomi’s very own Hyper OS 15.

For the camera, Redmi Pad 2 features a dual rear camera setup featuring a 8MP camera, and for selfies a 5MP front selfie shooter.

Redmi Pad 2 arrives in 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with up to 256GB storage variant and for the colour options, we get – Blue and Grey colour options.

Following the launch, Redmi Pad 2 sale will go live in India via the official e-store, Amazon and select offline retail stores starting from 24 June 2025.

The price of Redmi Pad 2 in India starts at Rs. 13,999 for 4GB RAM + 128GB Storage, Wi-Fi-only variant. Meanwhile, the Wi-Fi + 4G variant costs Rs. 15,999 and Rs. 17,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB Storage and 8GB RAM + 256GB storage configurations, respectively.
