Jio AirFiber, a wireless broadband service backed by superior 5G technology, is planned to launch on Ganesh Chaturthi, on September 19. Mukesh Ambani, Chairman of Reliance Industries, announced this significant development during the company's annual general meeting, foreshadowing a future upheaval in the telecoms business.
Jio AirFiber intends to provide seamless wireless internet connectivity to households and offices by leveraging the 5G network's cutting-edge capabilities. Mukesh Ambani emphasised Jio Air Fiber's potential, particularly in locations where wired connectivity is difficult. With over 10 million premises now connected via Jio Fiber's optical Fiber service, the debut of Jio AirFiber is expected to expand its coverage to about 200 million households and premises.
As it meets the connection demands of previously underserved regions by wired networks, the Jio AirFiber promises to gain 150,000 new subscribers per day. With its cutting-edge wireless capabilities, Jio is ready to revolutionise internet access thanks to its enormous 1.5 million km optical Fiber infrastructure across India.
Reliance Jio Fiber Features:
With the brand-new Jio AirFiber, customers can stream numerous camera views of a sporting event concurrently in high definition at speeds comparable to broadband. Users will now have the option of choosing a "Jio Cloud PC," a virtual computer hosted in the cloud.
