South Korean smartphone maker Samsung is reportedly gearing up to announce the Galaxy S24 series in India. And weeks before release, the first look of another upcoming smartphone - the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G was leaked online. The smartphone is tipped to debut in the global markets soon. According to a report from MySmartPrice, the handset could offer an Exynos chip.

As per the report, the 5K renders of the phone were leaked in collaboration with OnLeaks. Based on the images, the handset could have a centre-punch hole camera on the front. It may have a 6.5-inch flat FHD+ OLED 120Hz screen with Gorilla Glass 5 protection. The device will likely have flat sides this time. It could have a triple camera array on the back.

The power and volume buttons on the right side and a SIM card tray on the top may sit on the phone. A charging port and speaker unit could be there at the bottom. Among the notable changes is the inclusion of a metallic frame (as evident from the antenna bands) on the phone. It could have a thickness of 8.2mm.

Samsung Galaxy A55 Specifications (Expectations)

Coming to the expected specs, the handset could run on the Exynos 1480 chipset for performance and offer up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. The 5G phone could offer a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging. Leaks hint the A55 5G could have a 50MP primary, 12MP ultrawide and 5MP macro sensor. On the front, the device could have a 32MP selfie shooter.

Samsung Galaxy A55 Launch Date (Expectations)

For the unversed, the company introduced the Galaxy A54 5G smartphone in March 2023. The release of the upcoming phone can be expected by the end of Q1 2024 in March. While there are no hints about the pricing, the company could slot the device in the sub-Rs 40,000-45,000 price bracket.
