Samsung Galaxy AI features have been one of the buzzing topics among Galaxy smartphone users. Previously, the company announced that Galaxy AI features would be available to last-generation flagships including the Galaxy S23 series and Galaxy Z series by the end of March with the OneUI 6.1 update and now it is expected that the company is all set to roll out the update anytime this week.
For those who are unaware, the Galaxy S24 series debuted in February with OneUI 6.1, which includes a few system changes and a focus on Galaxy AI features. The company also confirmed that the 2023 flagships would receive the update, and the rollout date was later announced as March 2024. According to 9To5Google, Samsung is preparing to release the update as the deadline approaches.

OneUI 6.1 Release Date:
According to the report, some users have already been notified that the Galaxy S23, S23+, and S23 Ultra will receive updates beginning March 28. Tarun Vats, an X user, also shared a screenshot of the notification. However, the notification only confirms that the update will be rolled out to China users on that data, with no official notification for global users.
Samsung usually releases new updates in the middle of the week, and this will be the final Thursday of March. If the company is serious about fulfilling its promise, this is its last chance. Interestingly, Samsung Vietnam has also announced March 28 as the official rollout date for the OneUI 6.1 update.
Looking at all of the details, it is possible that the Galaxy S23 series will receive the OneUI 6.1 update later this week. The Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Tab S9 are also expected to receive the update soon. There is also speculation that the Galaxy S22 series will include AI features.
