Samsung S24 Price: South Korean giant Samsung has launched the Galaxy S24 series with a range of 'Galaxy AI' features in India at its Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event. The vanilla S24 is the entry point in the new lineup with a compact form factor compared to the Galaxy S24 Plus and Galaxy S24 Ultra. It is the successor to the Samsung Galaxy S23 5G, which recently received a price cut in the country.

The phone offers a range of AI tweaks, which the company calls the 'Eureka' moment, and hardware upgrades from its predecessor. For a more precise look, here is the price and specifications of the handset.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Specifications

Samsung Galaxy S24 gets a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 2,600nits peak brightness. It weighs 167g and is 7.6mm thick. Under the hood, the phone ships with a deca-core Exynos 2400 CPU. Galaxy S24 runs on OneUI 6.1 based on Android 14. The company will offer seven years of OS and security updates with the S24 series. Similar to its previous iteration, the phone gets hardware-based Knox Security.

Coming to AI, the phone will offer Live Translate (on-device real-time voice translations in 13 languages), Interpreter (split screen two-way translation), Chat Assist, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Circle to Search, Generative AI Edit for photos, AI-based enhancements in Android Auto and more.

It has a 4,000mAh battery with 25W wired and Fast Wireless Charging 2.0. Moving to the cameras, the phone offers a 50MP OIS primary (support for 8K recording), 12MP UW, 10MP telephoto rear and 12MP selfie shooter. As for connectivity, the IP68-rated handset gets Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC and a USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C port.

Samsung S24 Price In India

The phone has launched in two trims: 8GB + 256GB and 8GB + 512GB. These variants will be available in three colour options: Onyx Black, Cobalt Violet and Amber Yellow. Plus, exclusive colours (Jade Green and Sapphire Blue) will be up for grabs on Samsung.com.

The 256GB model for the phone starts from Rs 79,999, and the 512GB variant is priced at Rs 89,999. Buyers can pre-order the smartphone starting today and it will be available from January 31. Plus, buyers can avail Rs 5,000 discount via bank offers, a Rs 12,000 bonus on exchange of select smartphones and check out no-cost EMI options.
