Unpacked 2024, Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Launch Roundup: Samsung concluded this year’s annual event by announcing the next-generation Galaxy S24 series and the Galaxy Ring. The company introduced Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra with some helpful AI features, including Circle to Search, Note Assist, Chat Assist and more. Here are all the major highlights of the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked 2024 event.

Samsung Galaxy S24

The vanilla trim gets a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with a standard refresh rate of 120 Hz. Under the hood, the Galaxy S24 gets Exynos 2400 chipset with up to 8 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. It will be available in three variants and colours and is up for pre-order starting today. The smartphone gets a 50MP primary, 12MP UW, 10MP telephoto rear camera setup along with a 4,000 mAh battery. It also gets a variety of AI features including the Live Translate, Note Assist, Interpreter and more.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus:

The mid-variant of the Galaxy S24 Series gets a massive 6.7-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED screen with a refresh rate of 120 Hz. It also carries Samsung's in-house Exynos 2400 chipset and is offered with up to 12 GB RAM and 512 GB storage. Just like its younger sibling it also gets the same AI features including the Live Translate, split-screen Interpreter, Chat Assist, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Circle to Search and a dedicated AI suite of tools. It gets a 50MP/12MP/10MP camera setup with 3x optical zoom.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra:

The top-end Galaxy S24 Ultra gets a bigger 6.8-inch QHD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display, slightly bigger than its predecessor. It gets the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset with 12 GB RAM and up to 1TB storage with a dedicated vapour cooler chamber. It gets the biggest 5,000 mAh battery and runs on OneUI 6.1. It gets a 200MP/ 12MP/ 50MP/ 10MP camera setup with up to 10x optical zoom. It also gets a slew of AI-powered features.

Galaxy AI:

Samsung introduced a host of new AI-powered features to improve communication and reduce the barrier of languages. During the Unpacked 2023, it announced features like Live Translation, Interpreter, Chat Assist, Note Assist, Transcript Assist, Circle To Search, ProVisual Engine and a host of Image Editing features along with a summary feature for Android Auto users. Samsung Galaxy Ring:

As a surprise, the company while concluding the event introduced the much anticipated Galaxy Ring. However, the company has not announced much about the device but it said that the device will be powerful and accessible. Not only that, it also said, “Meet the Galaxy Ring, with AI technology, is empowering us to stay connected, unleash our creativity and build healthier habits all in more meaningful ways. This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait for you to try it yourself.”
