We saw a glimpse of Samsung's S25 Edge at the Galaxy Unpacked event that took place in January at the beginning of this year. The Korean tech giant showcased its flagship S25 smartphone lineup for this year and gave us a sneak peek at the S25 Edge variant, which wasn't launched at the event. Since then fans have been anticipating more details on the device and its launch date.
Now a tipster claims that we might just get to see the launch of this smartphone this month itself. Building up on this, there is another leak that suggests that in the S25 Edge we might get to see the same camera which is employed in the flagship S25 Ultra.
S25 Edge Launch Date Tipped
Tipster Evan Blass has shared what looks like a leaked teaser image for the Galaxy S25 Edge in a recent post on X (formerly Twitter). The image features the tagline “Beyond Slim”, which likely points to the Galaxy S25 Edge, as the device has been heavily rumoured to feature an ultra-thin design. It also hints at a possible launch date of May 13.

This lines up with earlier leaks that also suggested May 13 as the expected launch date. However, the phone might not roll out globally right away. According to reports, the Galaxy S25 Edge could hit shelves first in China and South Korea on May 23.
The U.S. and other regions are expected to see the phone a bit later, with availability reportedly set for May 30. Pre-orders, meanwhile, are rumoured to run from May 14 through May 20.
Camera Specs Leaked
Now if we talk about the camera specs, it was reported that the Galaxy S25 Edge will sport the same selfie camera as the ones employed in this year's flagship lineup, and now details about other sensors have emerged as well. SammyGuru has reported that even the rear main sensor would be the same as the top-of-the-line Galaxy S25 Ultra variant, which is a 200-MP primary shooter.
Similarly, a 12-MP ultra-wide sensor is also expected, which paired with the main lens makes up for the dual-camera setup that we have seen on the phone. The alignment of the lenses will be vertical, as we have already seen what it looks like, which will also sport an LED flash, and the whole module looks like a pill. As we get closer, more details about the device are expected to surface soon, but for now we must be careful with all this information, as none of it is official and is based on leaks and rumours, so stay tuned as we bring you the latest deets about it.
