Samsung is gearing up for a major showdown between its flagship models—the Galaxy S25 Ultra, a beast from Samsung and the Galaxy S25 Edge that just launched globally. The price for the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge goes over 1 Lakh, almost reaching the price of the Ultra. So the question arises, Which one is better? Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge or Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra? Both smartphones bring cutting-edge features, powerful performance, and stylish designs, but which one truly has the edge? While the Galaxy S25 Ultra was not considered a huge upgrade over its predecessor, yet it comes with a premium hardware and software combo. Also, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge does not have an anti-reflective coating, whereas, on the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has the anti-reflective coating.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge comes with a small 3,900mAh battery, all because of its sleek design and supports 25W fast charging.
And talking about the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, it comes with 5,000mAh battery and support of up to 45W fast charging, a good edge that Ultra gets because of its hefty build as compared to S25 Edge.
S-Pen
Another obvious big thing is that Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra has an S-Pen in it whereas the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge does not have the S-Pen.

Both the devices comes with Samsung powered Galaxy AI features such as audio eraser, sketch to image, AI image eraser, etc.

Both the devices comes with a QuadHD+ resolution with 120Hz refresh rate and 2600nits peak brightness making both displays pretty much identical.

Now talking about the charging you might be thinking that we discussed it already in the What’s Same section, but no. Here both the devices comes with a 15W fast wireless charging.

Now finally talking about the price, Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge price starts at Rs. 1,09,999 and Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra price starts at Rs. 1,29,999.
Conclusion
For the price difference of Rs. 20,000 you will need to give up the battery, faster charging, S-Pen, and extraordinary zooming capabilities. If these are a must, then you should go for Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra. As per my opinion, seeing the price to specification ratio, Samsung S25 Ultra will be a better choice as in Edge you will have to give up more than what you get.
