Samsung has officially introduced the Galaxy S25 FE, the lighter and slimmer successor to last year’s Galaxy S24 FE. Alongside, the company also announced the Galaxy Tab S11 series and the Galaxy Buds 3 FE.
Slimmer Build, Bigger Battery
The Galaxy S25 FE now measures just 7.4 mm thick and weighs 190 g—making it 0.6 mm thinner and 23 g lighter than its predecessor. Despite the slimmer frame, Samsung has managed to fit in a larger 4,900 mAh battery. Charging speeds have also improved, with support for 45 W wired and 15 W wireless charging.

Performance and Cooling Boost
Under the hood is Samsung’s Exynos 2400 chipset, backed by a 10% larger vapour chamber and a new thermal interface for steadier performance during gaming and video editing.
Display and Durability
The phone features a 6.7-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,900 nits. Vision Booster ensures outdoor visibility remains strong, while Gorilla Glass Victus Plus, an IP68 rating, and Samsung’s Enhanced Armour Aluminium frame provide durability.
Cameras and AI Features
On the back, the S25 FE carries a triple setup: a 50 MP main, a 12 MP ultra-wide, and an 8 MP telephoto with 3x zoom. A new 12 MP front camera handles selfies. Samsung’s ProVisual and Object-Aware engines return, enabling 8K30 video recording.
The phone runs One UI 8 based on Android 16, complete with on-device Galaxy AI for tasks like live call translation without internet. Creator-focused tools include Generative Edit, Sketch to Image, Instant Slow-Mo, and an improved Audio Eraser. Circle to Search for gameplay also makes its debut on the FE line.
Extras and Long-Term Support
Samsung is bundling a six-month Google AI Pro suite trial, which includes advanced Gemini models for Gmail/Docs and 2 TB of cloud storage. The S25 FE will be available in Navy, White, and Jet Black, with storage options ranging from 128 GB to 512 GB paired with 8 GB RAM.
As expected, the box does not include a charger. However, Samsung maintains its industry-leading promise of 7 years of Android OS upgrades and 7 years of security updates.
