Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra: Samsung recently unveiled the Galaxy S25 series in San Jose, California, featuring the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra. Samsung also teased its next-in-line smartphone the Galaxy S25 Edge, and the company has not provided much information about it, but rumours and leaks have given us an overview about the device.
While the Galaxy S25 Ultra grabbed attention with its new design, the expected camera upgrade was underwhelming, with the only improvement being a 50-megapixel ultrawide lens. However, rumors have already begun to swirl about the next iteration, the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

According to prominent Chinese tipster DigitalChatStation on Weibo, the Galaxy S26 Ultra may come with a major camera upgrade, including a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor, similar to what we've seen on the Vivo X200 Pro. Given the excellent zoom capabilities of Samsung’s Ultra models, this could be a significant enhancement.
But that’s not all—there are also rumors about a new battery tech. The Galaxy S26 Ultra could feature a silicon carbon battery, which has already appeared in flagship phones like the OnePlus 13 and Vivo X200.
In terms of naming, there may be some changes. The Galaxy S26 Ultra could debut as the Samsung Galaxy S26 Note, the Plus model might be renamed to Galaxy S26 Pro, while the standard model will retain the name Galaxy S26.
