Samsung Galaxy S25: Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy S25 series globally, including in India, during the Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event on January 22. Initially, the company only revealed the prices and availability for the 256GB and 512GB storage variants of the base Galaxy S25. However, a recent report has surfaced suggesting that the S25 will also come in a 128GB storage option, offering a more affordable choice for consumers.

According to 91Mobiles Hindi, the Galaxy S25 128GB model is expected to be priced at Rs. 74,999 in India. This is the same price as the previous Galaxy S24's 128GB variant when it was launched last year. Although pre-bookings for the phone have yet to begin, it’s speculated that the 128GB variant could be available at a later date.

Interestingly, the 128GB variant is not listed on the official Samsung India website, leading to speculation that it may only be sold through retail stores and offline channels. For comparison, the same 128GB model is priced at $799 (approximately Rs. 69,100) in the U.S. and other markets.

The Galaxy S25 was initially introduced in India in 256GB and 512GB storage variants, priced at Rs. 80,999 and Rs. 92,999, respectively. It’s available in four color options: Icy Blue, Mint, Navy, and Silver Shadow, while Blueblack, Coralred, and Pinkgold are exclusive to Samsung’s online store.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Features:

The Samsung Galaxy S25 boasts a 6.2-inch Full-HD+ Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 2,600nits peak brightness. It runs on Android 15-based One UI 7 and is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy processor, supported by 12GB of LPDDR5x RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.

In terms of cameras, the Galaxy S25 comes with a triple rear camera setup. This includes a 50MP primary camera with 2x in-sensor zoom and optical image stabilization (OIS), a 12MP ultra-wide angle lens offering a 120-degree field of view, and a 10MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS. For selfies and video calls, it features a 12MP front camera.

The phone is equipped with a 4,000mAh battery, which supports 25W wired charging (charger sold separately).

The Galaxy S25 series is shaping up to be a strong competitor in the market, especially with the addition of a more affordable 128GB variant, though its availability remains somewhat unclear.
