Let’s get into it – Samsung has finally launched its Galaxy Tab A11+ in India, a few months after it made the global debut. Placed just above the standard Tab A11, this new model gives you a larger display, more power and a bigger battery for a better all-around tablet experience — for work, play or even online classes. Available in four flavours across Wi-Fi and 5G iterations, the Pixel 4A, launched last month, has a pretty solid midrange value proposition featuring what was promised as a seven-year update commitment.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A11+: Key Specifications
The Tab A11+ has an 11-inch TFT LCD display with a high refresh rate of 90 Hz to provide less screen drag and better visuals for videos/games. Audio is getting a boost as well with quad speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos.
On the inside, Samsung relies on the MediaTek MT8775 chipset, up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of storage. It operates on One UI 8 on top of Android 16, and Samsung offers seven years’ worth of OS and security updates, which is exceedingly generous for this price range.

Samsung has also added DeX Mode, meaning you can connect the tablet to a compatible monitor, add a keyboard and mouse and work in a desktop-like multi-window interface. It essentially also turns the tablet into a more portable workstation when necessary.
The device is rated IP52 for mild dust and splash resistance, has a weight of 477g (Wi-Fi only) or 482g (cellular), and more. All of it is powered by a 7,040mAh battery with support for 25W fast charging.
Final Thoughts
The Galaxy Tab A11+ occupies a very sweet spot for students, casual users and anyone looking for a capable mid-range tablet with a big battery and a reliable software roadmap. DeX mode and seven years of updates make it particularly appealing for the long term. It may not want to tussle with Samsung’s top-end Tab S series, but it definitely makes a strong addition to both the mid-range as well as the top-tier lineup of tablets in India for the company.
