SAMSUNG announced its batch of S23 flagships recently. But the brand is yet to refresh its top-end tablet lineup - the Galaxy Tab S8 series. In a series of rumours about the upcoming tablets, the latest leaks have revealed the dimensions, display, battery and processor specifications of the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra.

According to popular tipster Ice Universe (@UniverseIce), the Tab S9 Ultra could sport the same dimensions as the S8 Ultra and a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for performance. Here is a detailed specs overview of the leaks.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra Expected Specifications

The tablet will likely have a 14.6 inch WQXGA+ screen with a resolution of 2960 x 1848. The tipped dimensions of the device are identical to the S8 Ultra - 208.6 x 326.4 x 5.5mm. The weight of the tablet could be 737g.

Coming to performance, it will likely have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 for Galaxy. This hints at a custom chip for the tablet. The chipset draws parallels from the S23 series. Speaking of multitasking, it will likely have 16GB LPDDR5X RAM.

On the battery front, it is expected to have a 11200mAh battery pack with 45W charging. This is the same as the present Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. The tipster claims it will have IP68 water and dust resistance. Reports, in the past, have hinted at OneUI 5.1 based on Android 13 for software.

Do note these specifications are not from official channels and might differ from the actual product.

Samsung tablets have a niche fanbase compared to the crazy appeal of the S23 series. Partly, this is because of the immensely popular Apple iPads.

Meanwhile, coming to the current offering, the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is the South Korean giant's latest premium tablet offering. It comes with a 14.6 inch WQXGA+ Super AMOLED display, an octa-core CPU, a 13 MP + 6 MP back camera and 12 MP + 12 MP front sensors. The tablet supports 4k video recording and has S Pen support. The majority of these features are expected to replicate in the upcoming offering with upgrades.
