Samsung Galaxy Z TriFold: Having unveiled the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and Z Flip 7 FE at its recent Unpacked event, Samsung may not be finished yet. The tech giant has also announced that its long-awaited trifold phone may launch by the end of this year — but now a new leak indicates the release may occur much sooner.

Potential October Release for Galaxy Z TriFold

According to known tipster Ice Universe, Samsung could launch the Galaxy Z TriFold in October 2025, possibly alongside the Galaxy S25 FE. Interestingly, this timeline follows HUAWEI’s rumoured second-gen Mate XT debut in September, signalling a tight race in the foldable category.

What to Expect From the Galaxy Z TriFold

Leaks suggest that the Galaxy Z TriFold will come equipped with a 10-inch OLED display, Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and a camera configuration identical to that of the Z Fold 7. A new One UI 8 beta build also contained code strings indicating that the feature will support this trifold form factor, giving credence to the rumours.

Design-wise, it could use a titanium frame with titanium hinges, and its cover screen can be placed on the middle panel, with the right half folding inwards. Such structural alterations could provide a more durable and premium construction.

Expected Price

The Galaxy Z TriFold is expected to have a price tag of around 4 million KRW (about $3,000 or ₹250,000 in India), which would make it one of Samsung's most premium phones to date.
