Samsung has been working on its latest software One UI 8 for quite some time now. Samsung always keeps on improving their user experience through their software. And is now working on their latest UI version, catching up to Android 16 with their One UI 8. Now in the Samsung newsroom, Samsung confirmed that next week they will be rolling out One UI 8 Beta for the Samsung Galaxy S24 series in India, Korea, the UK, and the US. They also mentioned a few devices that will be receiving One UI 8 as extended availability. As the update is not final, there might be more changes and new features might be added or removed in the future update.

Samsung One UI 8 Beta Rollout
Samsung was already internally testing One UI 8 Beta. Now a new newsroom post from Samsung has confirmed that the One UI 8 Beta that was initially introduced with Samsung Galaxy S25 will now add Samsung Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 from the next week.
Additionally, Samsung confirmed that One UI 8 Beta will also arrive in Samsung Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5 and some A series smartphones: Galaxy A36 5G, Galaxy A55 5G, Galaxy A35 5G, and Galaxy A54 in September.

Samsung One UI 8 Beta Availability In India
As per the newsroom post, Samsung is most likely to release the One UI 8 Beta next week in India, alongside Korea, US, and UK. So if you are in any of these countries and have an eligible device, you can start enrolling for One UI 8 next week or September.
Samsung One UI 8 Beta Enrol: Step-by-Step Guide
Samsung has now changed their process of enrolling to beta updates. To get enrolled for Samsung One UI 8, you just need to follow the steps below:
- Head to Members app on your Samsung device.
- Scroll down to the end.
- You will find the “Beta Programme” banner. Click on it
- Then you will see the available beta version for your smartphone.
- Just select your beta version. You will be able to join if it is labelled as “Open”
- Read the precautions carefully and Join.
- Once you join successfully, you will be redirected to the details page that displays menu, beta community, notices and more.
- On details page you can submit feedback, suggestions and your opinions with other users in Beta community.
Note: If there is no ongoing Beta test, then you won’t see any list.

Keep your smartphone battery 70%+ before updating [As high as possible].
Make sure you are OK with bugs and errors while using the device.
Keep your device data backed up well and safe before updating.
