Swiggy, a popular Indian food delivery startup, which has been working on a slew of new features in order to make their operations better has now added a new Network Expansion Insights tool in order to help the partner restaurants to take expansion decisions based on the data. Restaurants may now use this data-driven dashboard to select the optimal place for their next outlet by gaining insightful information from Swiggy's comprehensive platform data.
According to the company, over 100 Swiggy partners have already used the Network Expansion Insights dashboard and have noted a faster growth in demand during the initial weeks of introduction than their other outlets.
"We've created a unique solution that gives our restaurant partners access to critical data and assists them in strategically selecting the best locations for their outlets. This enables them to improve their chances of success by bridging demand and supply shortages for specific cuisines on our platform," Rohit Kapoor, CEO of Swiggy, said in a statement.

The company has also stated that in addition to looking at client demand, the dashboard would also take into account any locations where the supply chain's need is lacking or there is a void. Swiggy maximises the odds of success for eateries by closing this demand and supply gap.
The dashboard also identifies chances by assessing the demand from Swiggy users for particular cuisines that are not currently being offered. All of Swiggy's restaurant partners now have access to the new dashboard, which they can utilise on their own to make decisions and increase their chances of success.
Meanwhile, Swiggy CEO Rohit Kapoor built a specialised team to concentrate on artificial intelligence, according to Moneycontrol. Until now, the food delivery startup has used AI to generate images and descriptions of food products in limited circumstances while experimenting with it. Zomato, on the other hand, is already utilising the AU to improve the user experience and streamline operations.
