Tecno announced the Tecno POVA 5 series in India with two new smartphones: Tecno Pova 5 and Tecno Pova 5 Pro in India. Besides unveiling the new handsets, the company announced the new Megabook T1 laptops at its 'World of TECNOlogy' event. With the move, we have one more entrant in the laptop segment that competes in the smartphone world.
Tecno advertises the machine to have a battery backup of 17+ hours. For a detailed look at the new device, here is a report.
Tecno Megabook T1 Laptop Specifications
The laptop sports a 15.6-inch FHD IPS screen with a peak brightness of up to 350 nits. It will have 100 per cent sRGB colour gamut coverage. For immersive multimedia consumption, it gets stereo speakers with DTS immersive audio and dual mics with AI noise cancellation. The metal casing weighs 1.48kg and is 14.8mm thick.
Under the hood, the machine sports up to 11th Gen Intel Core i7 CPU paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. It runs on Windows 11 Home out of the box. The laptop has a 70Wh battery with 65W charging support. As for connectivity, the device comes with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, a headphone jack, a 2MP webcam, a fingerprint scanner, three USB ports, two Type-C ports, HDMI support, and an SD card slot.
Tecno Megabook T1 Laptop Price, Variants
According to MySmartPrice, the company has not revealed the price of the Tecno Megabook T1 in India. However, the RAM and storage variants of the laptop that would be available in the country have been confirmed. It will launch in three models.
- 11th Gen i3 (8GB RAM + 512GB)
- 11th Gen i5 (16GB RAM + 512GB)
- 11th Gen i7 (16GB RAM + 1TB)
With the move, Tecno has joined Xiaomi, Realme, Infinix and other smartphone brands competing in the laptop segment.
