JE Technology Desk: Thousands of users worldwide and in India are reportedly facing issues while using the micro-blogging app Twitter. Speaking of India, around 44 per cent of users in India are facing problems with the app, 40 per cent are having issues with the website, and 17 per cent are having troubles with the feed, according to Downdetector, an outage detection website.
The Downdetector outage graph displays over 7,000 reported issues in the United States and more than 600 outage reports in India. At the time of filing, no word from the company is official on this issue. According to a media report, Twitter accounts are complaining of an error message that reads "Cannot retrieve tweets" whenever they wish to post something or view a tweet.
Twitter Down: We can confirm
We can confirm that the outage is indeed real. The official handle of Jagran English is still not refreshing on the web version (now back). The message reads: "Something went wrong. Try reloading" after the initial prompt of "Sorry, you are rate limited. Please wait a few moments then try again". However, tweets are visible on the mobile app. According to reports, this is the third outage in 2023.
Twitter Down in India Ignites Meme Fest
This has ignited a meme fest on the micro-blogging app. Secondly, "#TwitterDown" is also trending in India. In one tweet, a person lying engrossed in cables is labelled Elon Musk trying to fix the problem. "Someone wake up Elon and tell him his $44 B app isn't working!" one user tweeted. Twitter Down Update: 9:25 PM
After an outage of over two hours, the web version is now back. The feed and the tweets are now visible on our account. However, many users continue to flood the social media app with screengrabs of error messages and hilarious memes. In our case, Twitter is working on the Android app and the web.

Twitter is again acting erratic on the web and Andriod version. The feed and the tweets are not loading on the web.
