Twitter, the well-known microblogging platform, is preparing to compete with professional social networking powerhouse LinkedIn by launching Twitter Hiring, a new job posting function. According to a recent snapshot provided by app researcher Nima Owji, the feature will allow verified firms to publish job advertisements straight on their Twitter pages.

According to the screenshot, verified firms will be able to import all of their job opportunities to Twitter by linking an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) or XML feed. This approach will allow them to swiftly and easily add job positions to their profiles.

Elon Musk, the new Twitter boss, hinted at the development of this functionality earlier this year. Musk responded intriguingly to a user's suggestion of a dating app named 'Twinder,' saying, "Interesting idea, maybe jobs too."

The much-anticipated feature is a component of Twitter's strategic initiative to draw more companies onto its platform and improve the user experience. Although individuals have previously been able to post job openings via tweets, the launch of Twitter Hiring will make it easier for businesses to find suitable candidates, says a report.

How Will The Feature Work?

To engage with top talent, verified businesses will have the chance to publish up to five job posts on their profiles. This will allow them to make use of Twitter's huge user base. The function attempts to improve communication between employers and job seekers, supporting a smooth hiring procedure.

According to Adam Ryan, the CEO of Workweek, the media organisation already has access to the new job posts function. He said the "Verified for Organisations" plan, which costs Rs 82,300 per month, includes the feature.

Users and organisations are eagerly awaiting the platform's official announcement of the feature's launch and its potential influence on the job market and social networking arena. As of right now, the '@TwitterHiring' account is inactive, but anticipation is growing as users and organisations wait.
