JE Technology Desk: Vodafone Idea, a leading telecom service provider in India, has launched two new prepaid recharge plans in India. The new plans aim to offer talk time with 30 days of validity. The benefits of these plans are comparatively limited and cater to users who rely on calling and the internet to a limited extent. Here are more details on both these plans.

Vi Rs 198 Recharge

The Rs 198 plan of Vi comes with a validity of 30 days and offers 500MB of data. Users will be charged at 2.5p per second in this recharge. The company is silent on the availability of SMS benefits with the recharge.

Vi Rs 204 Recharge

This recharge plan packs a validity of one month and offers 500MB of internet data. Calls are charged at 2.5p/sec in this recharge. Like the Rs 198 pack, this plan also does not offer any SMS benefits.

According to Gadgets360, the plans are available in Mumbai and Gujarat. However, we could trace them on the website in the Delhi circle also. Prepaid users interested in recharging their numbers with these packs can head to the official website of Vi or the app to recharge successfully. Moreover, you can also recharge via online recharge apps.

It is recommended that a user must recharge with one of these plans or another plan to ensure they keep receiving incoming calls on their Vi number. On a related note, the telcos also recently unveiled a Rs 17 prepaid recharge with unlimited benefits data benefits between 12 AM to 6 AM for a day. Unlike the current plan, this recharge is available across India.

The telecom service provider is yet to roll out 5G services in India and is lagging in the competition compared to Jio and Airtel. These two telecom providers have roped in large parts of the with coverage of 5G in India.
