Vivo, a Chinese smartphone maker, is all set to launch the Vivo T2 Pro smartphone on Flipkart on September 22. According to the company, the device will be the 'fastest smartphone in the price segment' and run on MediaTek Dimensity 7200 5G chipset.

In the images shared by the brand on X (formerly called Twitter), the T2 Pro is visible with a dual camera setup and a ring flashlight. A selfie camera inside the centre punch hole of the curved screen sits on the front. The 'Vivo' branding at the bottom of the back panel on the gold-coloured T2 Pro is visible.

The phone is rumoured to be on similar lines as the iQOO Z7 Pro 5G smartphone. Here are the expected specifications and price of the upcoming handset.

Vivo T2 Pro 5G Specifications

According to reports, the phone may have a 6.78-inch FHD+ curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1300nits. It may weigh 175g and have a thickness of 7.36mm. Under the hood, the T2 Pro will have a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chip. As for the software, the handset could run on Vivo's custom skin based on Android 13 out of the box.

Moving to the optics, the handset could have a 64MP OIS lens and a 2MP secondary lens. On the front, the device could have a 16MP front camera. As for the battery, the company may ship the device with a 4600mAh battery with 66W charging support. As for connectivity, the IP52-rated (likely) device may have Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3 and a Type-C port. Moving to security, the phone may have an in-screen fingerprint reader.

Considering these specifications, the Vivo T2 Pro 5G will likely sit below the Rs 25,000 price category.
