Vivo is gearing up for a busy few months in India, with multiple smartphone launches on the horizon. Recent reports indicate that the Vivo V50 might debut in the country in February. However, there are also whispers about the potential release of two more handsets – the Vivo T4x 5G and Vivo Y59 5G. These phones have recently appeared in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database, hinting at an imminent launch.
Vivo T4x 5G and Vivo Y59 5G BIS Listing
According to a report by MySmartPrice, the model numbers V2437 and V2443 were spotted in the BIS certification listing. These are believed to be the Vivo T4x 5G and Vivo Y59 5G, suggesting that their arrival in India is imminent. Unfortunately, the BIS listings don’t provide further details about the phones, leaving many questions unanswered for now.

Vivo T3x 5G and Vivo Y58 5G Features and Pricing
The Vivo T4x 5G and Vivo Y59 5G are expected to be upgraded versions of the Vivo T3x 5G and Vivo Y58 5G, respectively. Launched in April 2024, the Vivo T3x 5G packs a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC, a 6,000mAh battery with 44W fast charging, and an IP64-rated build. It also boasts a 50MP primary camera paired with a 2MP sensor and an 8MP front camera. The phone features a 6.72-inch, 120Hz, full-HD LCD display and runs on Android 14 with Funtouch OS 14.
The Vivo Y58 5G, which debuted in June 2024, offers a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, a 6.72-inch full-HD+ LCD display, and similar battery, camera, and software features as the T3x 5G.
Pricing in India
When it comes to pricing, the Vivo T3x 5G started at Rs. 13,499 for the 4GB + 128GB variant, with the 6GB and 8GB models priced at Rs. 14,999 and Rs. 16,499, respectively. The Vivo Y58 5G launched at Rs. 19,499 for the 8GB + 128GB version but saw a permanent price cut to Rs. 18,499.
As of now, there’s no word on the exact pricing for the upcoming T4x 5G and Y59 5G models, but with their expected upgrades, they’re likely to offer strong competition in the budget 5G segment in India.
