The Vivo V40 series which includes Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro has launched in India with an AMOLED panel, powerful processor and top-end features. Not only that, the Chinese smartphone maker promised to offer an impressive camera and a massive battery pack with fast charging support. Vivo V40 Pro Specifications
The top-end Vivo V40 Pro gets a massive 6.78-inch AMOLED screen with HDR10+ support and a 120 Hz refresh rate panel. It gets a 4,500 nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200+ chipset with Immortalis-G715 MC11 GPU. It gets up to 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage. It comes backed by a 5,500 mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging and runs on Android 14-based FunTouchOS 14.
It gets IP68 certification along with Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC (market dependent), and USB Type-C 2.0 with OTG support.
In terms of camera, the Vivo V40 Pro comes with a 50 MP wide lens, a 50 MP telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom and a 50 MP ultrawide sensor. It comes with gyro-EIS and OIS. These are Zeiss optics and come with Zeiss T* lens coating. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone comes with a 50 MP front camera with dual LED flash and a 4K camera.

Under the hood, the smartphone comes powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen3 chipset with 8GB RAM and 8GB virtual RAM. It comes with up to 256GB storage which is expandable through a microSD card. It gets the 5500 mAh battery, which supports 80W FlashCharge.

It gets 4G, 5G, and VoLTE along with Bluetooth v5.4, WiFi, NFC, USB-C v2.0, and an IR blaster as added features.
Speaking of the optics, the smartphone comes with a 50 MP dual camera with optical image stabilisation. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone comes with a 50 MP selfie camera.

Vivo V40 Pro price starts at Rs 49,999 for 8GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The Vivo V40 price starts at Rs 34,999 for the 128 GB storage while the 256 GB storage comes at Rs 36,999. It will be on sale starting from August 19 while the Pro variant will be on sale starting August 13.
