Vivo V40 Series India Launch: Chinese smartphone maker Vivo is all set to launch the Vivo V40 series in India soon. The lineup will include the Vivo V40 and Vivo V40 Pro, confirms Flipkart and Vivo microsites. The company has advertised 50MP ZEISS optics on the rear and an IP68 rating on its website. Plus, the handsets will sport a 5,500mAh with 80W charging.

As for the colours, the Vivo V40 Pro will arrive in Ganges Blue and Titanium Grey shades. The V40 will debut in Lotus Purple, Ganges Blue and Titanium Grey. The lineup will debut with a curved screen. The Pro is said to have a 50MP main, 50MP ultrawide, and 50MP telephoto rear and a 50MP selfie shooter. Meanwhile, the Vivo V40 has already launched in China. Hence, we can anticipate the specifications of the device.

Vivo V40 Specifications (Expectations)

The smartphone could have a 6.78-inch 1.5K curved AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and 4,500nits peak brightness. Under the hood, the V40 could boast a 4nm Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. It will likely run on Funtouch OS 14 based on Android 14. The device may sport a 5,500mAh battery with 80W charging. Vivo V40 may sport a 50MP OIS main + 50MP ultrawide lens on the rear and a 50MP selfie shooter.

As for connectivity, the device could sport Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and a USB Type-C port for charging. As for other highlights, the model may sport an in-screen fingerprint reader and an IP68 rating. While the specifications of the Vivo V40 Pro may be similar, the Pro smartphone may have a Dimensity 9200+ chip and an extra 50MP telephoto camera.

Vivo V40 Series Price Range (Expectations)

As for the pricing, the Vivo V40 Pro may start from Rs 43,000 and compete in the sub-Rs 45,000 price bracket. Vivo V40 may have a starting price of around Rs 33,000 and higher storage models may sit in the sub-Rs 35,000 price range.
