Vivo V60 India Launch: Vivo has launched its new V series smartphone in India—the Vivo V60 5G—that has been crafted for photography enthusiasts. Equipped with ZEISS imaging technology, the phone introduces specialised features for wedding photos, portraits, and beyond, along with a sleek design, extended battery life, and AI-enabled features. At a starting price of Rs. 36,999, the V60 5G also delivers seamless performance with Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset.
Design and Display
The Vivo V60 5G features a new design with a modernised camera module and a lightweight, slender build. Up front, there is a 6.77-inch quad-curved screen featuring a 120 Hz refresh rate and a whopping 5000 nits peak brightness. Durable in nature, it gets IP68 and IP69 ratings for water and dustproofing.

Cameras
At the rear, the V60 5G boasts a three-camera system—a 50MP ZEISS OIS primary sensor with a Sony IMX766 sensor, a 50MP ZEISS super zoom lens (Sony IMX882), and an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera. The selfie camera at the front is a 50MP ZEISS group selfie snapper. Vivo has also added new camera modes, such as 10x telephoto stage portrait, Wedding Vlog, and ZEISS multifocal portrait.
Performance and Software
What's under the hood is the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chip, supported by up to 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 2.2 storage. Funtouch OS 15, based on Android 15, is the operating system, and Vivo guarantees 4 years of software updates and 6 years of security patches. AI features such as AI Four Season Portrait, AI Magic Move, and AI Reflection Removal provide additional flexibility.
Battery and Charging
The phone comes with a huge 6500mAh battery that has support for 90W FlashCharge to charge quickly.

Price and Availability
Vivo V60 5G will be up for grabs in Auspicious Gold, Moonlit Blue, and Mist Grey colour variants, with a base price of Rs. 36,999 for the 8GB+128GB model. It goes on sale on August 19.
