Vivo X100 Series Release Date In India: Vivo, a Chinese smartphone maker, has confirmed the launch date of the Vivo X100 series smartphones in India. The lineup will likely include the Vivo X100 and Vivo X100 Pro smartphones. The brand has announced that the handsets will launch in India on January 4, 2024, at 12:00 PM. Besides Vivo's official channels, it is anticipated that the smartphones will be available on Flipkart as a dedicated microsite is now live on the e-commerce platform.

The official update comes after the launch in the Chinese and global markets. On the official website, the company teases that the X100 Pro has an "Industry's first ZEISS APO Certified Telephoto Camera". Meanwhile, here are the expected specifications and price of the smartphone in India.

Vivo X100, X100 Pro Specifications

Both smartphones could offer a 6.78-inch QHD+ AMOLED 120Hz curved screen with a peak brightness of 3,000nits. Under the hood, it could have a 4nm octa-core Dimensity 9300 and Immortalis G720 GPU. The handsets may run on Vivo's custom skin based on Android 14. The base model may have a 5,000mAh battery with 120W charging, and the top-end trim could offer a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.

As for the optics, the X100 may have a 50MP primary + 50MP ultrawide and 64MP telephoto sensor on the back. On the other hand, the X100 Pro may have a 50MP 1-inch sensor, 50MP UW and 64MP periscope camera. Both handsets may have a 32MP selfie shooter.

Vivo X100, X100 Pro Price In India

While the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro start from 3,999 yuan (roughly Rs 46,000) and 4,999 yuan (about Rs 58,000) in China, the pricing will likely be on a higher side than the converted prices in India. It may debut at a similar price compared to its Vivo X90 series.
