Vivo X200 Ultra Update: Vivo the Chinese smartphone might be working on its next big launch the Vivo X200 Ultra and X200 Mini variants for the Indian markets. We have already witnessed the launch of X200 Pro and X200 models last year which appeared with MediaTek Dimensity 9400 processor under the hood. The Ultra variant is poised to go official in China soon. April could be the month when we finally see the Vivi X200 Ultra succeeding the previous year's X100 Ultra.

This time it looks like Vivo might be bringing more high-end smartphones to India! According to a report from BW BusinessWorld, Vivo India is pushing for the launch of the Vivo X200 Ultra and X200 Mini in the country.

The buzz started at MWC 2025, where Vivo executives reportedly told their partners that the X200 Pro had completely sold out in India. In fact, demand was so high that the company had to request additional stock from its manufacturing units.

Last year we didn't see the launch Vivo X100 Ultra, but was announced in China in May last year. Only the base and the Pro version were released in India.

Now, with the X200 Pro’s success, Vivo India is trying to convince its headquarters to bring in the X200 Ultra as well. They’re betting big on the ultra-premium segment, especially after seeing how well the Vivo X Fold 3 Pro performed.

Right now, Apple and Samsung dominate the high-end smartphone market, but Vivo seems confident it can shake things up. If the X200 Ultra does launch in India, it could be an exciting addition to the flagship lineup!

Vivo's X series made its debut in China last October with three models—Vivo X200, X200 Pro, and X200 Pro Mini. While the X200 and X200 Pro arrived in India by December 2024 with a starting price of ₹65,999, the Mini model remained exclusive to China.

Now, Vivo is reportedly gearing up to launch the Vivo X200 Ultra in April, positioning it as the premium variant of the X200 lineup. Rumors suggest that it could pack some serious power, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ SoC, up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM, and a whopping 2TB of UFS 4.0 storage.

If these specs hold true, the X200 Ultra could be one of the most powerful flagships of the year.
