Vivo is gearing up for a major flagship release this year with the much-anticipated Vivo X300 series — expected to include the Vivo X300 and Vivo X300 Pro. According to recent leaks on Weibo, the official launch is likely to take place in China around October 13, just after the National Day holidays. While there’s no word yet on the India launch timeline or pricing details, expectations are already building.

World’s First to Feature MediaTek Dimensity 9500 SoC

The standout detail? The X300 lineup could be the first smartphone series globally to debut with MediaTek’s Dimensity 9500 chipset, a major leap forward in mobile performance—if the leaks prove true.

Display and Design Leaks

The Vivo X300 is rumoured to feature a 6.31-inch 8T LTPO BOE Q10+ panel, replacing the 6.67-inch model seen in earlier lineups. Meanwhile, the X300 Pro is expected to boast a larger 6.78-inch display. Exact specs for refresh rate and brightness are still under wraps.

Camera Hardware Sounds Promising

On the camera front, both models are expected to offer a 50MP front camera for selfies and video calls.

The X300 might come with a 200MP Samsung HPB main sensor, a 50MP Sony LYT-602 periscope lens, and a Samsung JN5 ultra-wide shooter.

The X300 Pro, on the other hand, may pack a 50MP Sony LYT-828 primary sensor, a 200MP Samsung HPB periscope telephoto, and an ultra-wide camera as well.

Software and Battery

Out of the box, both phones will run OriginOS 6 based on Android 15. While the capacities of the batteries have not been officially announced, leaks indicate a 6,000mAh unit for the X300 and a 6,500mAh cell for the Pro model. Both should offer 90W wired and wireless charging.
