JE Technology Desk: Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has confirmed that the Vivo X90s smartphone will launch on July 26. The company revealed the update via its Weibo account and shared a few camera samples of the phone.

According to Gadgets360, the smartphone was recently teased by Jia Jingdong, Vice President and General Manager of Product Strategy at Vivo. In the latest announcement, the company has finally silenced the speculations on a possible launch date of the device in China. And before the official launch, media reports have hinted at the possible specifications of the upcoming handset.

Vivo X90s Specifications and Features (Expected)

The smartphone may have a curved 6.78 inch 1.5K AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate. It will likely have a 10-bit colour depth. For performance, it may have a Dimensity 9200+ chipset and a Vivo V2 chip. Speaking of memory, the phone could sport up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage. It may run on Origin OS 3.0 on top of Android 13.

To power the internal components, a 4690mAh battery could sit inside the back panel of the phone that may support 120W charging. As for the optics, the smartphone may sport a 50MP primary, 12MP ultra-wide, 12MP portrait lens and a 32MP front camera. The company showcased a few pictures in the announcement post clicked by Alex Webb, a renowned photographer to give viewers a glimpse into the picture quality. As for the connectivity, it may sport Wi-Fi 7. The smartphone will get a white colour and Zeiss optics, like its other mates in the X90 series.

Vivo X90s India Launch?

While the company is silent on an India debut at the moment, we can expect the phone to join the existing Vivo X90 series in the country after the China debut.

Speaking of products available in India, the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro are available in India for buying. The upcoming smartphone will likely sit below the Vivo X90 in terms of price.
