JE Technology Desk: Chinese smartphone maker Vivo has launched the Vivo Y27 smartphone in India. It debuted on Indian soil after making a global appearance last week. It is a budget offering placed in the sub-Rs 15,000 price bracket for users looking to buy a smartphone with a good design and more storage.

The Y27 comes with a 6.64-inch LCD screen with a screen resolution of 2388 × 1080. It weighs 190g and is 8.07mm thick. Under the hood, the device has a MediaTek Helio G85 processor with 6GB RAM for performance. A user can allocate an additional 6GB of virtual RAM for improved multitasking. As for storage, it comes with 128GB of in-built storage that is expandable via the microSD card slot. The smartphone runs on Funtouch OS 13 based on Android 13.
