JE Technology Desk: Vivo, a popular Chinese smartphone manufacturer has introduced a new mid-level Y series smartphone in India weeks after rumour mill suggested its full specifications, and as reported the phone lacks 5G support. However, the phone gets a lot of new features including a good display, powerful RAM, a big battery, and fast charging support. Here are the specifications and prices.

Vivo Y36 4G Specifications

Vivo Y36 4G comes with a huge 6.64-inch Full HD+ display with a refresh rate panel of 90 Hz and a resolution of 2388 x 1080 pixels. The phone gets teardrop bezels with small bezels. Under the hood, the smartphone gets a Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 processor which comes paired with up to 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage. It also supports Extended RAM of up to 8 GB as virtual RAM. The phone is backed by a huge 5,000mAh with a fast charging support of 44W. The phone runs on Android 13-based FuntouchOS 13.

Speaking of the optics, the smartphone gets a dual camera with a 50 MP primary shooter with f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP secondary shooter with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies and video calls, the smartphone gets a 16 MP front camera along with different shooting modes.

It also gets a fingerprint scanner for security, Dual-band WiFi (2.5GHz/5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1, USB Type-C, GPS, BeiDou, GLONASS, Galileo, and QZSS in terms of connectivity.

Vivo Y36 4G Price In India

The Vivo Y36 4G is priced at Rs 16,999 and is available in a single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage trim. It is available on Vivo E-store in two different colours- Meteor Black and Vibrant Gold. Buyers can also avail of an instant discount of Rs 500 instant discount on the use of ICICI and HDFC credit and debit cards by the end of this month. The company is also offering No Cost EMI as well as a 15-day replacement policy.
