Vivo has expanded its Y-series lineup in China with the launch of the Vivo Y600 Turbo, a new mid-range smartphone that brings a large battery, high-refresh-rate AMOLED display, and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset. The phone arrives in three colour options and offers up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

Vivo Y600 Turbo Price And Availability

The Vivo Y600 Turbo starts at CNY 2,299 (roughly Rs. 32,000) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. The 12GB + 256GB model is priced at CNY 2,599 (roughly Rs. 36,000), while the top-end 12GB + 512GB option costs CNY 2,899 (roughly Rs. 40,000).

The smartphone has been introduced in Dune Gold, Electric Blue, and Millennium Pink shades. Pre-orders are already live in China, and official sales will begin from May 27.

AMOLED Display With 120Hz Refresh Rate

The Vivo Y600 Turbo features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 1,260 x 2,800 pixels. The panel supports a 120Hz refresh rate and is claimed to offer up to 5,000 nits peak brightness. Vivo says the screen also comes with SGS Low Blue Light certification and TUV Rheinland Flicker-Free certification for a more comfortable viewing experience.

The handset runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 out of the box.

Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 Powers The Device

Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 processor paired with an Adreno 810 GPU. It is offered with up to 12GB LPDDR4x RAM and as much as 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

50-Megapixel Rear Camera Setup

For photography, the Vivo Y600 Turbo gets a dual rear camera system led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.8 aperture. It is accompanied by a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel camera with an aperture of f/2.05 for selfies and video calls.

Giant 9,000mAh Battery

Another key feature of this smartphone is its huge battery capacity of 9,000mAh. There is 90W wired fast charging support on the phone that will probably help it recharge quickly despite having such a big battery.

The smartphone also comes with dust and water resistance rated at IP68 and IP69 levels.

Connectivity Features And More

The connectivity features available on the Vivo Y600 Turbo are as follows – 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v5.2, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, QZSS, OTG, and USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, e-compass, infrared blaster, and proximity sensor.

For security, Vivo has equipped the phone with an in-display optical fingerprint scanner.

The handset measures 163.73×76.18×8.29mm and weighs 215g.
