As the last week of this year comes to an end, we have seen a range of product launches that not only introduce fresh products to the market but also seem to be defining the course of how advancements in performance and visual computing with AI computing might look as we approach the next year, i.e., 2026. Whether it is AI desktop computers or next-gen gaming screens and wearables, it hasn’t felt like a typical product launch cycle.

Xiaomi 17 Ultra

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra in the Chinese market embodies this strategy, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip, with standard and Leica Edition options available. While the phone promotes endurance and camera-centric offerings with its 6.9-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display and 6800 mAh battery, the company is set to expand this lineup, including the Indian market, in 2026, thereby covering its flagship strategies not limited to a short technology cycle.

Honour Win Series extends performance across segments

The Honour line has gotten a boost with Win and Win RT smartphone models coming with a high of 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The Win smartphone is driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip and a 50MP camera on top of MagicOS 10. The other variant operates on the same chip but is named the Snapdragon 8 Elite and similarly boasts a 50MP camera. The strategy seems more like a move to cover various pricing tiers with flagship performance but still be performance-orientated.

Asus Copilot Plus AiO Signals the Rise of Desktop Computing in Artificial Intelligence

For the desktop computer market, the Asus company has released the VM670KA AiO Copilot Plus computer that comes with the AMD Ryzen AI 7-350 processor and a related 27-inch Full HD display. While this offering sounds more functional than a prototype, it indicates the rising trend of artificial intelligence support in all-in-one computer systems.

LG And Samsung Moving Gaming Monitors In A New Visual Path

Gaming displays enter a compelling transition period as well. The UltraGear evo series from LG, sporting 39-inch 5K2K OLED, 27-inch 5K Mini LED, and 52-inch 5K2K monitors with 5K AI upscaling capabilities, is set to appear at CES 2026, foreshadowing a sharpened sense of visual reality from upscaling. The Samsung 2026 Odyssey series introduces a glasses-free 3D 6K monitor and another model designed to brush up against a 1,040 Hz refresh rate, bringing into question general expectations surrounding immersive and competitive graphic landscapes.

Xiaomi Watch 5 and Realme Narzo Series: Ecosystem and Battery-Life Priorities

Xiaomi has further added to its wearable line-up with the Watch 5, which comes with heart rate, SpO2, ECG, and eSIM and comes in various materials for the strap. Realme has aimed for the Indian market with the Narzo 90 and Narzo 90x, which are expected to appeal to marathoners, featuring Dimensity, 7,000 mAh batteries, and IP65 and IP69 rated devices, emphasising the standby capacity in the mid-range segment.
