WhatsApp, which has been changing its functionality, look, and overall experience, will soon allow users to share high-quality photographs with other users. This comes after Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg stated that the instant messaging network will be upgraded, allowing users to share both standard-sized and HD-quality photographs.
WhatsApp has already announced that to maintain fast and reliable connectivity, the company will continue to keep the Standard Quality as the default photo option and users will have to select the HD option manually.
Zuckerberg wrote on his Facebook page, "Sharing photos on WhatsApp just got an upgrade -- now you can send in HD." When you receive a photo with poor bandwidth connectivity, you may decide whether to maintain the normal version or update it to HD on a photo-by-shot basis.
According to the company, HD Videos will soon be available with the HD Photos functionality, which will be rolled out globally over the next few weeks.
“With WhatsApp's end-to-end encryption, you now have the option to share images in better resolution for those special occasions that you want your loved ones to see in all their fine detail,” the company said.
A new forwarding message functionality for channels on Android and iOS is apparently being rolled out by the Meta-owned messaging service WhatsApp. Users can now share channel messages with their friends and family, the firm announced in a new message released on the main channel, according to WABetaInfo.
Meanwhile, WhatsApp is also developing a new AI sticker feature using which the users will be able to create AI stickers. Users will be able to give prompts and then share the created AI stickers with the individual chats or the group chats. According to the report, users can also report stickers that include "inappropriate or harmful" content. The fact that the content was generated by AI may also be clearly understood by the recipient.
