WhatsApp, which recently launched an app for Mac users, is now reportedly exploring a separate version for Apple's iPad users. According to WABetaInfo, the trial version is available for installation via the TestFlight app, which is accessible to beta testers who already utilise the beta software on their mobile devices.
The TestFlight app for WhatsApp now supports the new iPad as of version 23.19.1.71. Users must have WhatsApp loaded on both their iPhone and iPad on the beta iOS version in order to set it up on the tablet.
Users can independently use WhatsApp on the tablet after connecting the iPad to the iPhone without the need for the phone to be online. This is a huge benefit, especially for people who use their tablets for work purposes.
After that, open WhatsApp on your iPhone and go to WhatsApp Settings, Linked devices, 'Link a device,' to scan the QR code with your iPad," added the report.
Just like iOS and Mac applications, the dedicated application for iPad will be secure by end-to-end encryption when using the companion mode, which means it is secure and will not affect the privacy of the user communication.

The ability to see and post status updates as well as other live location sharing functions, however, might not function properly because the companion mode is still in development. In a subsequent app update, WhatsApp plans to solve these problems by adding bug fixes and enhancements.
When Will WhatsApp App For iPad Rollout?
However there is currently no official release date for the WhatsApp for iPad app, its advancement is encouraging for iPad users who have been waiting a long time for a dedicated WhatsApp experience on their devices.
