WhatsApp, which has been adding a slew of new features in order to increase the accessibility of the platform including the user experience, has now introduced a new feature which will make it easier for the users to run multiple accounts on a single device. The platform has previously introduced a feature using which the users are able to use a single account on multiple devices.

With this move, the company hopes to provide a hassle-free experience for consumers who want to transfer between devices for work and personal use. The new feature will save the time of logging out and logging in along with the hassle of carrying two phones or accidentally messaging someone.

Now the users can chat with separate accounts with different agendas or purposes, for instance, friends, family and office. They can also join the communities, groups and others.

How To Setup WhatsApp Multiple Accounts On A Single Device:

For using the feature, the basic requirement is to have two different SIMs and a phone which supports dual SIMs. Rest, setting up the second account is a piece of cake. Here are the steps to follow to create your second account.

1. Get into the WhatsApp settings.
2. Click the small arrow next to your name, then choose "Add account."
3. Enter your second phone number and confirm it by calling or receiving an SMS code.
4. By touching the arrow next to your name and choosing the account you wish to use, you can now swap between your accounts.

Do note that the different accounts will have different settings and you will need to set it up as per your requirements. All the features will be accessible to the second as well.
