WhatsApp has released a stable update for iOS with version number 23.21.72, which includes an interesting new interface. While not expressly noted in the App Store's official changelog, this update adds redesigned colours and icons, with the goal of improving the app's visual appeal and modernising the user experience.

A redesigned layout with revised colours and icons was previously included in the WhatsApp beta for iOS, version 23.21.1.70, to enhance the overall appearance and feel of the platform. A restricted number of users can now access this interface with the release of WhatsApp for iOS 23.21.72. It will roll out to all the other users in the coming weeks.

The official changelog for the update mentions a few features from earlier versions, such as the ability to search and follow channels, but it does not go into great depth regarding the new features. It's confirmed that a limited number of people will now be able to experience the new interface, which was previously only available to beta testers, even though it wasn't included in the official changelog.

One of the most noticeable changes to this new interface is the use of a new green colour as the main app tint. The app settings and the conversation information panel have redesigned icons that add to the updated and modernised look.

It is recommended to frequently update WhatsApp from the App Store and the TestFlight app in order to get access to the new UI in the future for customers who do not see this feature in their app after installing the update. Not only that, but updating the application frequently will keep your data safe.
