JE Technology Desk: WhatsApp regularly grab headlines in the media for bringing new features across platforms. As a traditional protocol, the company first tests features in beta and then releases them publicly for users. In the latest move, the Meta-owned app is rolling out large stickers on the Windows app in beta trials, according to WABetaInfo. The company is also developing a new white action bar on Android.

Users can download the app from Microsoft Store. The version labelled as '2.2324.0.0' is marked as a compatible build. It is available to some testers and will roll out to more in the coming days. These large stickers can be used during conversations from the app.

In the screenshot shared by the news platform, the stickers are visibly large and available to select users. You can test it out by sending them during chats. The media is sent by default in large format and requires no settings manipulation to function. WhatsApp Stickers are a good option to share a personalise your message replies.

White Action Bar on Android

WABetaInfo also reported that the company is working on a white action bar on Android that will be available in a future stable build of WhatsApp. Beta build marked as "2.23.13.16" is labelled as a compatible build. But due to the under-testing nature, the feature is not live for testers right now.

In the screenshot shared by the WhatsApp enthusiast, a white action bar is in line with Material Design 3 principles. Moreover, a dark action bar will likely make it to the app soon.

Enhanced UI on iOS

The instant messaging app is also testing an enhanced interface on iOS. In the beta version, the tab and navigation bar have a translucent effect. Tables in several sections of the app have an updated design. Action menus have been changed to context menus to offer an improved experience to users.

Meanwhile, the company recently introduced message editing and screen-sharing option in beta.
