ARTIFICIAL Intelligence has slightly become a hot topic for big companies as well as professionals ever since Microsoft’s OpenAI introduced the ChatGPT to the public. Now in a new update, the demand for artificial intelligence (AI) talent has grown 11 percent in India over the last six months, driven by job demands in sectors like IT, retail, telecom, BFSI, and advertising/market research sectors, says a report.
AI-Related Jobs So Far
According to a Foundit analysis, job growth in the Indian industry would increase by more than 22% over the next five years, with new roles coming in from the in-trend AI, machine learning, and data categories. According to the report, the majority of AI-driven jobs in the country are in the IT sector (nearly 29%), followed by advertising, market research, public relations (17%), and retail (11%).
According to the report, there is a high demand for AI-related employment, but businesses are struggling to find qualified candidates. Companies are looking for a variety of people, and the growing demand has resulted in a shortage of employees with specialised skills.

List Of Jobs That Are In Demand After AI Boost
Job profiles in high demand include software engineers, data engineers, data scientists, python developers, marketing analytics consultants, AWS data architects, machine learning engineers, AI product managers, BI developers, and content curators/proofreaders.
Will Artificial Intelligence Help Professionals In The Future?
According to data, AI has helped competent people and businesses flourish to some level. Speaking of capabilities, the AI has several, including code debugging, writing articles, generating presentations, and even solving hard queries. However, it is difficult to project whether Generative AI will be beneficial or a threat to the jobs of professionals, among other things.
