X Videos New Features: Elon Musk's X, formerly called Twitter, is now revising its widely popular perception as a microblogging platform into an "all in one" app. In this endeavour, the business regularly introduces new features and enhancements for videos. And in the latest move, it is evident from Elon Musk's recent comments that the platform may allow users to post video clips longer than three hours. The feature will likely be limited to paying accounts.
Plus, the company has also introduced enhancements for video streaming and a new layout for embedded videos. Here are the complete details about all the three changes.
X To Support 3 Hour+ Video Uploads
The update for longer video upload comes after Musk responded to Lex Fridman's post that said the video of the first three hours of an interview was uploaded on X. "3 hours is the current upload limit," @lexfridman said. Responding to this, Elon Musk posted: "Sorry, we are fixing the silly 3 hour video limit asap." This hints the platform will soon allow users to upload videos longer than three hours.

X Video Embed Improvements
X's Live account shared that the platform has updated the embed protocol on the platform so that users can directly embed videos and the broadcast player into websites and apps. Users can choose to select the "Embedded Video" option to use the feature on the embed website of X. Other options highlighted by @Live include "Embedded Post", "Embedded Timeline", and "X Buttons".

X Video Live Streaming Enhancements
Improvements for live streaming on X came in the form of new integration on Streamlabs. "You can now stream to @X without manually entering a stream key!" @streamlabs said. Streamers can monitor chat on Streamlabs desktop, create custom alerts, use Streamlabs widgets, Multistream simultaneously (in Streamlabs Ultra) and more.
On a related note, X also introduced a grid view for media gallery on the web. The change will reflect on Android and iOS in the future. More enhancements for the feature will arrive soon. Moreover, an X staff shared that Communities is now available for users globally.
