Discord, an instant messaging and VoIP social platform, officially announced that it will soon let the gamers stream their Xbox gameplay directly on the platform. As per the company it was one of the most requested feature and now use Xbox players stream their Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One games directly on the platform. The streaming feature, till now, is available to Xbox Insiders users.

With this move, the platform has also advised the users to connect their Xbox consoles with the Discord profile in order to get their hands on the feature. “This is one of the most requested Discord features, allowing Xbox gamers to stream their Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One games directly to Discord,” said the company in its official blog post.

How To Connect Discord To Xbox?

The business also described how users can combine Discord with Xbox in the blog post. Users must first go to User Settings and then Connections on Discord for desktop or mobile. Within the menu, the user will see an Xbox logo, and by touching on it, the user will be able to instantly enter their Microsoft account and set it up.

Once joined, players must choose Discord, then navigate to one of their available servers and join a Voice channel the next time they press the Xbox button on their controller and visit the Parties & Chats menu on their Xbox Series X|S or Xbox One. The Voice channel for that community will then receive them. When they are prepared to begin streaming, they can choose "Stream your game."

As part of its effort to let consumers connect from their preferred platforms through Discord, the business added the ability to communicate in Voice with pals directly on Xbox last year.

Meanwhile, a new opt-in facility called "Family Centre" was launched by the well-known chatting platform last month, making it simpler for teenagers to alert their parents and legal guardians about their Discord activity while still respecting their liberty.
