Zomato users in India have stumbled upon a surprise deal — renewing a Zomato Gold membership for as little as Rs. 1. While Zomato hasn’t made any official announcement, several customers have reported seeing the offer pop up directly in the app.

The company has a history of rolling out such limited-time, in-app promotions, offering three months of Zomato Gold at prices as low as ₹99 or ₹30 during order placement. This new Rs. 1 renewal appears to be the lowest price yet, making it a steal for frequent food delivery users.

What Is Zomato Gold?

First launched in 2023 at ₹149 for three months, Zomato Gold gives members:

  • Free delivery on orders above ₹199 from restaurants within 7 km
  • Extra discounts of up to 30% on top of existing offers at over 20,000 partner restaurants across India

How to Get the Rs. 1 Renewal Deal

There’s no official announcement, so the offer is available only to select users and appears randomly within the Zomato app. If you see it, you can renew instantly with:

  • Just Rs. 1 payment via UPI, card, or wallet
  • Three months of uninterrupted Gold benefits

Once the renewal window expires, regular membership rates apply.

Zomato’s Recent Moves

Earlier this year, Zomato announced a major rebrand to "Eternal", consolidating its core businesses:

  • Zomato (food delivery)
  • Blinkit (quick commerce)
  • District (live events)
  • Hyperpure (kitchen supplies)

The company has also been in the news due to antitrust complaints filed against Zomato, Swiggy, and Zepto by the All India Consumer Products Distributors Federation, citing unfair deep discounting practices.

If you spot the Rs. 1 Zomato Gold renewal offer, grab it — it’s the cheapest way to enjoy free deliveries and extra discounts for the next three months.
