According to The Hindu report, on November 26, 2024, officials from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) and the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) inspected the flyover's construction. GHMC commissioner K. Ilambarithi and HMDA commissioner Sarfraz Ahmed conducted a site visit to assess the progress.

During the inspection, Commissioner Ilambarithi directed the team to complete the flyover by November 30. He noted that 17 properties need to be acquired for the construction of the service road and Chief Engineer Devanand confirmed that work could begin as soon as five properties are secured. Town Planning officials were instructed to expedite the acquisition process to ensure timely completion of the project.

In separate news, a blood-red liquid flooded the streets on the night of November 25, leaving residents horrified in Hyderabad's Subhash Nagar. The liquid, which overflowed from a manhole in Jeedimetla's industrial area, emitted a strong stench, making it hard to breathe. Locals speculated that expired paint had been dumped into the sewer system, causing the alarming sight.

However, Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewerage Board (HMWS&SB) officials denied this, suggesting that the chemical waste was likely dumped directly onto the streets. The area was cleaned the next morning, restoring normalcy. Residents called for stricter waste management supervision.
