Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: 60-Day Diversions Announced For Malakpet-Yadagiri Theatre Corridor Work; Check Alternative Routes

Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: The Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced major traffic diversions in parts of the city due to the construction of an elevated corridor between Malakpet Fire Station and Yadagiri Theatre. The restrictions will come into effect on Thursday, January 15 and are expected to remain in place for around 60 days.

Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Road Stretches To Remain Closed

As part of the project, the following road sections will be closed for regular traffic during the construction period:

- Saidabad Y Junction to IS Sadan Junction

- One side of the road from Saidabad Y Junction to Dobhighat

Authorities have advised commuters to avoid the stretch between Nalgonda X Road and Owaisi Hospital (DMRL Junction), as congestion is likely on nearby roads and intersections.

Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Diversions For Four-Wheelers, RTC Buses And Heavy Vehicles

Vehicles travelling from Nalgonda X Road towards Saidabad Y Junction and heading to Santosh Nagar or IS Sadan will be diverted via:

• Saidabad Y Junction

• DCP South East Zone Office

• Saidabad Law & Order Police Station

• Saraswathi Nagar Kaman

• Sankeshwar Bazar

• Indian Petrol Bunk

• Singareni Colony

• Onus Robotic Hospital, Champapet

• Champapet Main Road

• IS Sadan

This route applies to four-wheelers, RTC buses and heavy goods vehicles.

Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Diversions For Two- and Three-Wheelers

Two- and three-wheelers from Chanchalguda towards IS Sadan will be diverted at Saidabad Y Junction via:

• Saidabad Law & Order PS

• 105 Bus Stop

• Ramalayam Kaman

• Laxmi Nagar

• Biscuit Factory

• Dobhighat Junction

Vehicles heading from Chanchalguda towards Champapet will be diverted via:

• Saidabad Law & Order PS

• 105 Bus Stop

• Ramalayam Kaman

• Laxmi Nagar

• Vinay Nagar

• Bharath Garden

• Champapet Main Road

Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: RTC And District Bus Diversions

RTC buses from Chaderghat towards IS Sadan and Champapet will be diverted via:

• Malakpet Gunj

• Moosarambagh

• Gaddiannaram

• Saroornagar Lake area

• Champapet

District RTC buses and heavy vehicles from MGBS and Chaderghat will be diverted towards:

• Dilsukhnagar

Traffic police have urged commuters to plan travel in advance, follow diversion signage and cooperate with traffic personnel to avoid inconvenience during the construction period.
