Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Restrictions Announced For Golconda Bonalu Festival In June And July; Check Dates, Diversions

Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Hyderabad will witness traffic and parking restrictions on 9 days in June and July in view of the Golconda Bonalu Festival. The Hindu festival Bonalu consists of the devotees visiting the temple at Golconda Fort. The traffic advisory has been issued from 8 am to 11 pm on nine different days in June and July this year.

Hyderabad Traffic Advisory Dates

June 26 and 29, July 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20 and 24.

Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Avoid THESE Roads

Commuters are requested to avoid these roads on the Golconda Bonalu Festival dates:

-The road from Langar Houz via Fateh Darwaza.

-The road from Ramdevguda via Makkai Darwaza.

-The road from Shaikpet and Seven Tombs via Banjara Darwaza.

Hyderabad Traffic Advisory: Parking Areas

Commuters need to park their vehicle and then walk to the fort.

-For People Coming From Ramdevguda:

Motorbikes (Two-wheelers): Park between Ashoor Khana and the Army Sentry Post.

Cars (Four-wheelers): Park at the Artillery Centre or Ashoorkhana.

Buses: Setwin buses can only go as far as the Ashoor Khana car park.

-For People Coming From Shaikpet:

Motorbikes (Two-wheelers): Park at Owaisi Ground or on the Golf Club Road side lane.

Cars (Four-wheelers): Park at the Hockey Ground or Deccan Park at the Seven Tombs.

-For People Coming From Langar Houz:

Motorbikes (Two-wheelers): Park at MCH Park or Alihira School.

Cars (Four-wheelers): Park at the Golconda Bus Stop or the Area Hospital.
