Gujarat Weather Forecast: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast heavy rain in central and south Gujarat on Thursday, June 26. Gujarat's diamond city Surat has been in the grip of torrential rains for the last few days. The city has been waterlogged due to heavy rains. The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert in Surat for the next 24 hours.

The weather body has also forecast heavy to very heavy rain in the state, especially in some areas of South Gujarat and Saurashtra. Till July 1, there may be very heavy rain in various parts of the state.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a warning of very heavy rainfall at isolated places in Aravalli, Mahisagar, Chhota Udepur and Dahod on June 26, as well as heavy rainfall at isolated places in Bhavnagar, Amreli, Sabarkantha, Panchmahal, Narmada, Navsari, Valsad, Daman and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

There is a warning of very heavy rainfall at isolated places in Banaskantha, Sabarkantha and Aravalli on June 27, as well as heavy rainfall at isolated places in Kutch, Patan, Mehsana, Gandhinagar, Mahisagar, Panchmahal, Dahod, Navsari, Valsad, Daman and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.

According to the Meteorological Department, there is a warning of very heavy rain at isolated places in Banaskantha and Patan on June 28, as well as heavy rain at isolated places in Kutch, Sabarkantha, Mehsana, Morbi Jamnagar, Devbhoomi Dwarka, Navsari, Valsad, Daman and Dadra and Nagar Haveli.
