Hyderabad Traffic Advisory:  Traffic restrictions have been enforced by the Cyberabad Traffic Police in response to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation's (GHMC) construction work of the SRDP Shilpa Layout Phase-II flyover at the Gachibowli intersection.

The restrictions have been imposed for a week from September 19 to 26.

The Gachibowli flyover will be blocked during this period.

Check Alternate Routes

From Bio-Diversity Junction to IIIT Junction, avoid the flyover by going beside it through Bichareddy Sweets (Telecom Nagar) to Gachibowli Junction, then to IIIT Junction.

From IIIT Junction to Bio-Diversity Junction, use Gachibowli Junction instead of the flyover.

In another development, an alternate highway from Okhla Barrage to Yamuna Expressway via the Hindon-Yamuna Doab is proposed to reduce traffic on the Noida-Greater Noida suburbs Expressway in Uttar Pradesh. It will be an eight-lane ground-level expressway or a six-lane raised expressway to lower pollution and enhance traffic flow.

On their way from Delhi to Noida, commuters have to deal with severe traffic congestion, which takes time and adds to carbon emissions, which worsen air pollution. This is now a significant environmental risk.

On September 18, the Noida Authority submitted a proposal to the Principal Secretary of the Uttar Pradesh government's Public Works Department to designate this route as a National Highway in order to forward the new plan.
