Hyderabad News: A Mercedes Benz was involved in a serious accident in Hyderabad early on Monday, November 25. The vehicle crashed into a divider near the City Centre Mall in Banjara Hills, specifically on Road Number 10.

According to a Siasat report, the car was being driven by a woman who lost control while navigating a turn, resulting in the collision with the divider. The car's airbags deployed, preventing any significant injuries. Eyewitnesses reported that the front of the car broke through a wall and was left hanging precariously in the air.

Motorists passing by quickly stopped to assist the driver, who was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol. The Banjara Hills police, along with traffic personnel, arrived at the scene and used a crane to remove the vehicle. An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the accident, particularly focusing on the possibility of drunk driving.

This incident follows another crash in Banjara Hills just a week earlier, on November 19. In that case, a taxi service vehicle used by IT employees lost control due to excessive speed and collided with a divider before crashing into an electric pole. Fortunately, both the driver and a passenger escaped without injuries, although the car was severely damaged.

The Banjara Hills police responded promptly to that incident as well, conducting a preliminary investigation and registering a case for negligent driving.

In separate news panic broke out at Hyderabad Airport on November 24 when two exotic snakes were found in a basket carried by two female travellers from Bangkok. The women, who arrived by flight, were suspected by customs officials, who discovered the snakes during a routine check. The creatures were rescued, and zoo officials were notified. An investigation into the incident is underway to determine further details and potential legal implications.
