Hyderabad News: A 43-year-old woman died by suicide after jumping from the fifth floor of her apartment building in Himayatnagar, Hyderabad. The woman, identified as Pooja Jain, was alone at home when the incident happened. Her husband, Arun Kumar Jain, was reportedly at work at the time.
According to a Siasat report, police recovered a handwritten note from the scene, in which Pooja stated that she wished to “meet God through self-sacrifice.” The message pointed to a spiritual motive behind the act.
Investigators are looking into her mental health and personal situation to understand what may have led to the suicide.

The incident has raised questions about her emotional condition, and officials are continuing their inquiry to gather more details.
In separate news, Hyderabad police have registered four additional FIRs after receiving new complaints related to an alleged IVF and surrogacy fraud involving Universal Srushti Fertility Centre. The Gopalpuram police took action following reports from victims who accused the centre of medical negligence, deceit, and financial exploitation.
Among the fresh complainants is an NRI couple, highlighting the case’s international angle and the possibility of a larger organised racket operating beyond Telangana. Police sources said that the case gained momentum after several victims submitted documents such as medical records and bank statements, pointing to systematic malpractice.
A couple from Nalgonda alleged that they lost Rs 44 lakh to the scam and named Dr Namratha, Dr Sadanandam, Chenna Rao, Archana, and Surekha as key figures behind the fraud. The NRI couple claimed a financial loss of Rs 25 lakh. Investigators are now looking into possible wider links and more victims connected to the accused.
