Indiramma Illu Housing Scheme News: Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, the minister of housing and revenue, said that people who had been found to be ineligible for the Indiramma Illu housing program would not be entitled to its benefits, even if their houses were still under construction.

Ponguleti and chief secretary Ramakrishna Rao held a video conference with all district collectors on May 2, to discuss the implementation of the Indiramma housing scheme, the Bhu Bharathi revenue portal, and the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET), which is scheduled for May 4.

Speaking to the collectors, he stated that the Indiramma houses were limited to 600 square feet in size in accordance with the scheme's guidelines.

According to Ponguleti, the final list of beneficiaries of Indiramma houses must only be created with the approval of the district-level ministers in charge.

He gave instructions to the collectors to make sure that only worthy members of the underprivileged groups were added to the scheme's beneficiary lists, regardless of how many lists were made public.

Informing the collectors, he said that the state administration opted to build 500 houses in urban areas (municipalities and municipal corporations) in each constituency under the plan.

In order to resolve land-related concerns, he also instructed the concerned collectors to hold Bhu Bharathi revenue meetings in 28 mandals throughout the state between May 5 and May 20.
